What “actions” has Iran taken to provoke us sending ships?
#17
Trump saves aircraft carrier USS Truman

I threw in the link about the USS Truman that was commissioned in 1998 and was scheduled to be scrapped rather than refueled. The 20-story-tall carrier covers 4 1/2 acres. Almost 1,100 feet long, it is powered by two nuclear reactors and is capable of exceeding speeds of 30 knots using four bronze propellers.

Speeding up a deployment does not bring the existing group home any sooner. It is most likely a sign that your cruise has been extended. A double down so to speak.
