Being aware of and acknowledging these things is better than pretending they don’t exist. It’s also an opportunity to put forward the facts of the matter without them being slathered in the muck and distortion it will receive from the gutter press.
It’s too soon to tell, obviously, but from what is out there so far, I’m getting an air of something closer to an obsessive infatuation, perhaps unrequited, possibly unknown. It will all come out in the wash.
