my family in Romania just told me they cannot find basic staple items such as flour, beans, rice, etc. everyone is in panic mode and stores sell out first thing in the morning.

Rumors are there are a few corona virus cases but the government denies that.

EDIT: also all canned items are sold out. basically anything not perishable is sold out.
