As mentioned here a year or two back I did start to cull my vast collection. I intended to start by moving on LPs that had come to me accidentally as in job lots that had one or two I wanted or, in the case of the first one I sold, ones left in apartments I rented when a lot younger. The LP in question was Nick Drake's 'Five Leaves Left' which I found very pleasant listening but was not really part of my vinyl collecting history so would be happy with buying via iTunes. Looked up possible values and found that sold prices varied enormously so further investigation revealed that the initial releases had misprints to labels and sleeves and these were worth a lot more. Turned out the one I had was one of these early ones and it sold on eBay for £447.00.
