Well, only if they want to cultivate the kind of image and persona that TS did... Thankfully, only a very select elite group of superstar performers actually maintain this level of aesthetic artifice!
I would hate to see, for example, Amanda Fucking Palmer (below) looking like a Mattel Erotic Girl doll (sorry, TS, your look does nothing for me), for an interview or appearance. Provocative outfits on stage, sure - that's part of performing/pretending. But to have to do it 24/7, whenever in public? Blech.
