Scrapple doesn't have the same texture as SPAM it has a lot of corn meal in it as well as "everything but the oink"... Scrapple is sliced in slabs, and then pan fried until brown and crispy. It's delicious! If you don't fry it until crispy, the texture is more of a "mush", and pretty unappetizing!
