Just remember, I didn’t say they were any good.
3rd party batteries remain a roulette wheel of success. In addition to the older canon BP-511a set I was pursuing (old digital tape camcorders, early DSLRs up to my 50D , the 5D etc) I also picked up some stuff for the 6D I just got, which uses the newer LP-E6n style. I bought a Wasabi charger for that one, and two used-but-good Canon batteries off eBay.
There remains a gap between the $50-$80-ish OEMs and the $10 trash on Amazon.
