I occasionally hung with Rich and pal Joe Shapiro in school, even traveling around the Southern tier in Factor's fastback corvette (the Toad).
Having Robert Moog ten miles up Cayuga lake in Trumansburg with his synthesizer didn't hurt in exposing Factor to the ideas which helped to birth Eventide. (Did you know that Rod Serling also lived in Trumansburg?)
The large talented Factor also was a favorite engineer for Dan Ingram at WABC at its peak. Ingram called him The Evil Ox, an accurate moniker.
He was a blessing on the world.
