As for the Congressman’s claim that all anyone has to do is check the “travel records,” it’s a total smokescreen because there are none available to check unless they get subpoenaed.
This is the goal, bullshittery so that no one can find the truth. He could very well be as innocent as a lamb but would still rather push B.S. instead of defend whatever credibility he has left.
Seems like the FBI could get his travel records without a lot of trouble. They're pretty tight with DHS, which has records of all air travel in the U.S.
