does photoshop elements employ the same catalog structure as adobe bridge/adobe lightroom?

if my images were in a photoshop elements catalog, could i seamlessly upgrade to lightroom classic and keep the same catalog of images?

Bridge has no catalog. It's a file-browser/manager. It uses the Mac file-system to determine hierarchy and writes metadata directly to each file.

The structures of the Elements catalog and the LR catalog are very different and are not interchangeable.

Adobe did provide an import tool in LR. A catalog from a recent version of Elements may be imported into LR "Classic" with minimal data-loss.

...I'm not sure whether the online version of LR can do the import.
Sarcany-

Thank you for a thoughtful and detailed response.

Thumbs up.
