Whew. He really seems like an unlikely target for this kind of obsession.
My friend's stepdaughter is irrationally obsessed with Matt Damon and claims he chooses words during TV interviews to specifically signal his affection for her. She obsequiously pats her belly when she sees him in media, hoping someone will ask her what she's doing so she can say he is the father of her unborn child. (She isn't pregnant, never has been.)
She isn't kidding. This has been going on for over a decade.
Apparently medication helps but she doesn't like being on it. The Damon response is a signal she hasn't taken it. It's really sad.
