As the article notes, solid-state (electrolyte) batteries should be in production vehicles by 2030.
IIRC, they'll offer about twice the capacity for the same weight/volume/cost as today's packs.
LFP only for me in the meantime.
Sorry, but apart from the small amount of cells in my laptop's battery I just can't trust nickel-cobalt-based packs.
