It's baaaack, Kerrygold sale @ FoodLion
#8
I thought i saw a pound for $5 at Costco the other day.

At my Costcos I've only seen the 2lb 4-brick box, salted and unsalted.

The first time I bought some, it was $8.xx a box.

Don't remember how much I paid for the second two boxes.

Okay, I'll bite - what makes Kerry Gold butter better?

For me, it has a richer taste, more 'buttery' than any I've tried, though they haven't previously shopped 'high-end' butters.

It's something like comparing whole milk to the imposter wannabes, or butter to margarine.

But then some people think butter and margarine taste the same, and that non-whole milk tastes better than whole.

No accounting.

I guess the placebo effect is strong for some people.

Or the ability to discern the difference is weak for you.

Somebody (here?) said the Kirkland brand was very good as well.

Obviously, most if not all Kirkland products are rebranded products, so somebody else is making their butter.

I don't know that a deal like that would benefit kerrygold.
