Musk is trying to spin blame for the current Tesla price drop on anything but himself. $100 of the current drop is due to the Twitter overhang (the fact that he bought it which worries investors that he won’t spend enough time on critical projects at Tesla, him selling Tesla shares to fund Twitter, and the incendiary Tweets he’s been making which make investors question his mental health). The rest of the market is suffering from the same ‘federal reserve’. Yet why is the rest of the market only down 20% but Tesla 60%, especially when Tesla is significantly outperforming the rest of the market????
