Funny you mention that. I was on the phone with FiOS tech support earlier this afternoon arranging a set top box swap. He made a comment about "Jeez, you have a good plan, but you could get upgraded boxes." After a little back and forth he admitted that I'd be better off talking to Sales for specific costs, because it turns out that if I wanted get an upgraded box, I'd have to get a new router...which I could do, but then I'd have to have a tech come out because our FiOS comes in on coax and "we don't even do that anymore."
So basically, I'm sticking with the old set top box swap until I can talk to Sales and see what we can do.
