I was barely squeaking by on Level 1 charging.
I don't work Fridays and was using that down time to "catch up" and get the battery back to 80%. I don't drive a lot, maybe 50 miles a day.
I was going to wait until I got my Rivian to do level 2 (I ordered a wall charger with it). But it's still at least 8 months away, so I found a reasonably-priced charger and had a 60 amp circuit run to the garage and hard-wired it in.
Now I get 48 amps of LII charging and it is more than enough. I only need to charge once every few days.
I think the Tesla chargers will do 80 amps (on a 100 amp circuit). My car will only take 48 amps max on LII.
