The new Ant Man is a good movie.
Not great by any measure.
Not especially unique or memorable.
Doesn't advance art.
But it looks good on an IMAX screen.
Nice way to blow a couple of hours with friends or family if the theater isn't crowded so the COVID risk is minimal.
This is pretty much the bubble on which my theater attendance rests.
Pre-COVID, I would have likely seen this in theater.
Now, I may try to catch a matinee, if not too many people have purchased tickets.
I've seen Maverick several times at matinee, and there were very few people, with most observing social distancing.
I pick my perfect or near perfect seat when there are no others chosen, and only once or twice has some followed by choosing a seat or seats two away.
The thing that bothers me is that most of the time I'm the only one maskedup.
