Free firearms would go a long way. Sign me up, of course free isn't free, but the cost would be spread out evenly to those who won't want a gun

Basic training required for weapons kept in the home.
Advanced training for those that need to carry outside the home.

The NRA has 120,000 certified instructors ready and willing.

Must be licensed & insured. Make the license included with training.

Must be re-certified periodically.
Send a free box of ammo, although free isn't really free and a box of 9mm range ammo from the government would cost $100

Can't be a felon. And processing firearms outside these restrictions would be a felony.
We have this already

The 2A was never meant for hobbyists who want 100 different styles of firearms Folks who have 100+ firearms are the safest group of gun owners there are. True experts or dealers that take gun ownership seriously.

I'd LOVE to see this happen, but I have to revise on of your comments:
Statement: Can't be a felon. And processing firearms outside these restrictions would be a felony.
'We have this already'

Let me be VERY clear. There are MANY loopholes in the current law. If you made it as transparent and regulated to transfer a gun as we do for a car, there would be almost NO under-the-table firearm sales.

Please stop saying 'we already have that law.' We do NOT. We have a pretend law.
