well, ur gonna be in for a shock if you shop new. =)

we rented a tesla in HI 6 months ago, also cheapest option... from hertz.

hotel charged it for us overnight a couple of times. no extra $$... went to drop off at the airport, only had 65% charge? Total cost for "refueling" was $6. Big whup.

I think if you are renting an EV, maybe need to have a discussion about what the "refuel" costs are -- might be minimal..
