Well, they tried to kill her by firing back, obviously, but missed.

Seems just as likely (if not moreso) that the alternate outcome had she not lobbed off a shot was that they would have taken the stuff and left. In other words, same outcome, only with far less risk to her life, and less damage to her property.

I think you gunners live in a fantasy world.
