Well, deconstructing this first example of one of the few exceptions where a gun has been used for self defense a year ago. First it still was a mass shooting. 3 people died, 2 others were injured in the shooting. In this case the person who responded actually was a good shot, and managed to keep his cool. But it could have been someone else and more injuries could have occurred from the return fire.
