Amazon, so many times trouble with an order

Sent my daughter a cleaning product that she likes the smell, and wife and I were going to be there the next day after delivery to have a straighten up party, and I get this: Package is undeliverable and returning to sender because it is damaged.

Why can’t they just resend it?
