I had something like that occur with my Asus router a few weeks ago.
I go in and label devices every few months to help with potential troubleshooting later. Devices are IDd by MAC address.
A couple of devices that I knew were online did not show up in the list of DHCP assignments. When I power-cycled the devices, they rejoined the network, but still didn't show up. I'm confident that if I had access to the real ARP tables they'd be there, but was stuck with the GUI they gave me.
So, I tried making new DHCP reservations (static assignments) for them based on the MAC addresses that they had on their labels.
And after the next refresh, they appeared on the list.
