They won't because, just like the bond companies that have turned him down, they're not stupid. Everyone knows PAB45 is going to lose the appeal, then the bond holder will have to pay the bond immediately.
If he loses a second Presidential election, his value as a useful idiot drops dramatically; no longer worth the time and investment to Putin.
What is the value of a 2nd Trump presidency to Putin? Pretty insanely high I would guess. And why would Putin worry about cost - HE is the richest man in the world - not Elon. He would be paying with state funds anyway...
Putin will only pay as a method of last resort. Far easier to help certain people 'fall' out of some windows.
