It's a very interesting discussion.

I don't see what you're seeing.

I don't see comments on the video that accord with what you've described.

Stewart is guiding the conversation, and doing so expertly and attentively. This is his job.

It's clear that he's familiar with the book and is engaged with the author and the subject. The Reverend seems appreciative of his opportunity to speak and of Jon Stewart's contribution to the conversation.

Stewart does interrupt a couple of times, but notice that each interruption provides an opportunity for an expert response that brings applause. He's not interrupting to insert a marginal viewpoint or self-promote.

This was a VERY good interview. Thanks for posting it.
