All we needed is a 50-ish candidate who was politically savvy and had the interests of the country, people, and party at heart, in mind and action.
Then we wouldn't have two octogenarians as candidates running for president two elections in a row, and possibly a country not nearly divided, with one half of the Great Divide slowly dragging it backwards in time.
But here we are, with one candidate trying to destroy democracy, and one trying to save it.
And neither getting the full credit they deserve for what they're doing.
