can't make this 5h1t up

Early 80's, had a ("Freddie") Mercury Bobcat, w/ a lift-up, glass tailgate.
Couldn't find an all orange one, but this white trimmed one'll give ya the idea....

.....and 40+ years later, this one's in better shape than mine ever was.
I traded mine for a set of 1972 Wilson Staff irons, and a couple of pro style
Wilson Staff golf bags. And I got much the better end of that deal.
The paint on Freddie had long lost its shine, so it's hard to imagine it
ever being as nice and shiny as the one pictured above. Of course before
Freddie hit the road, his body had been rather severely bruised and battered.
But he was slow, and never hadn't exploded (yet).
