So - what do we like for a wired 2-button USB mouse nowadays?

I loved my old Logitech MX518 and was sad when it died after like 10 years of faithful service. I got a replacement, only to learn that it didn't play nice with newer versions of MacOS. So it's connected to my son's old Mac Mini that I use occasionally. I hated wireless mice too, but have been using a Logitech M510 on my Studio. I've only had to replace the batteries once in like 2 years. But again, it doesn't play nice with newer MacOS. I had to pay for a Japanese guy's program (SteerMouse) that lets me program the buttons on it.

Make me an outrageously insanely high offer for one of our 2 NIB's MX518's, or I'll leave you one in my will, if it's still in my estate when I expire.
I keep one, that's been in use for quite awhile, in my "laptop-to-go" bag for road warrioring, and also when demo-ing guest Macs around here.
Great choice for a wired mouse!

FYI, the semi-recent reissue MX518 has better resolution than the original, as well as on board profiles in its memory, so you can program
you desired configuration(s) on a older, compatible machine, then take it with you to newer Mac's/OS's in all of its wonderful mouse glory.
