Unable to save "pdf" file

After dragging it to the desktop, it pops right back. It does not stay on the desktop.

Couldn't attach screen shot, but here's what it says: First info on the file says: "image001.png," and "412 KB, 1 file attached, 1 embedded image," and info in the small rectangle with the Adobe log says "LS10… al.pdf 407 KB"
