I just retired my beige as jimmypoo stated. I wasn't getting reliable performance on Firewire equipement after going to Tiger. Plus, I was missing out on some cool stuff I wanted to do with DVD equipment.
I did have the PowerLogix G4/550 clocked at 542 MHz with the system buss clocked at 83 MHz. The upped clock to 83 MHz was really unreliable until I got good RAM installed. Then the Machine was on nearly 24/7 throughout almost all of the 10.0 through 10.3.9 era. Very reliable and snappy for a machine used mostly for websurfing, email, and Office.
However, now, it is time for my 1.5 GHz Mac Mini. In 4 years down the road, OWC's Ryan Rempel can help me keep that running on OS XV! LOL
