Incorrect on that last phrase, I’m in Mexico City right now and Apple Maps has it as Gulf of America on my iPad running the latest iOS. I reported the error as PeterB suggested.

i said Google Maps. Don't know what protocol Apple is choosing.
I’m in Mexico City and both Apple and Google maps are showing it as Gulf of America. I’m using local WiFi on my iPad. Sad. Bigly.
On Google's maps page, you can report an inaccuracy.
