Thought I saw people saying here and there that cookies didn't help, hence my desire to have it summarized in one place. Also, couldn't figure out how to do a site-specific cookie purge in Chrome-- not interested in resetting every site. Seems like there should be a way?
On my phone I get "Authorization Code Mismatch." Trying to use the same pw that I'm logged in with on desktop now.
Deleted cookies in phone, still locked out.
Per Google AI:
To clear site-specific data (like cookies and cache) in Chrome, navigate to Chrome's settings, then to Privacy and security, and finally to Site settings. From there, you can view and manage data stored across all sites, or search for a specific site to clear its data.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
- Open Chrome Settings: Click the three dots (More) in the top right corner of the browser window and select "Settings".
- Go to Privacy and security: Navigate to "Privacy and security" in the left-hand menu.
- Access Site settings: Click on "Site settings".
- View permissions and data: Select "View permissions and data stored across sites".
- Locate and clear data:
- You can either browse the list of sites or use the search bar to find the specific site you want to clear data for.
- Expand the site entry if needed to see subdomains.
- Click the trash can icon next to the site to clear its data.
- Alternative Method (for clearing all site data): You can also go directly to the site data settings by entering
in the address bar.Code:chrome://settings/content/all
This is what I did and then I was able to reset my password and login.
