If the "independents" could coalesce into their own party … but campaign funding issues will stand in the way of this ever happening unless there is a change in the rules. Don't count on that happening unless there's some kind of general national upheaval. But maybe… 

Wonder how many Dems and Repugs would move to the center if politics and policy continue to skew in extreme opposite directions.
