Whoever invented adhesive, colored LED light, strip tape should be strung up and kicked in the nuts.
I'm all for letting a teen express their creativity and personality within the confines of their bedroom, but I had no idea what I was in for. Teens see this stuff on social-insta-tok and innocently ask to decorate their room with it. DON'T DO IT. Suggest an LED color lamp or something as alternative. DO NOT get the adhesive strips.
Not only are color LED lights of any type unbelievably gawdy in a teen's bedroom, when they inevitably get tired of the LED lights (thankfully), the adhesive rips off the wall paint and primer down and through to the sheetrock paper. Ask me how I know!
