Going to Kauai... suggestions, anyone?

Rain in Hawaii tends to be largely at night, and it can be any kind of weather any time of year. I spent 2 weeks in Kauai in a January and got one day where it mostly rained the whole day. The 3 other times I've been there, in august, March, & November, it was pretty much the same and I always stay on the north shore. Really though, no area of the island is ugly. Kapaa is actually quite nice.
