Got a link to the facts you base that statement upon? A tree farm is not a forest. Estimates of the remaining old growth forest range from 2-4%. Monoculture tree farms are more susceptible to the spread of disease and the herbicides used to maintain them have serious effects on wildlife and adjacent human populations, being implicated in stillbirths and birth defects.
