long term - it's probably a pretty decent buy - especially when their cash on hand is factored... but I do agree it may yet be a better buy.
Depends on the next quarter report. Apple warned about it as they make the transition this Quarter to some of the intel models + there were a LOT of people who returned iMac G5s to get the 'Twice as Fast' iMac Intel... which isn't, but still....
all that said - Apple did warn - but if the warning comes in true, I'd not be surprised to see some still over react and sell it down. If Apple under performs lower than the warning, that's a real downside... And of course - the alternative of a nother exceptional quarter beating their warned still ok income/rev coming off the holiday season and with the transition - then will be kicking for not having bought.
And can't rule out some next best product/service with huge income potential that would drive buyers on the promise of more big income growth at Apple justifying a higer current P/E.
This is opinion and not based on any crystal ball or more than just my own perceptions of what seems to drive Apple's stock lately.
I do not know - but all of that all said - it does seem kinda low just now and maybe it is a good buy regardless of whether it's going to lower before continuing it's climb.
