I finally Got a fire started with a magnifying glass!

I have a 28cm^2 Fresnel Lense that I purchased from Edmond Scientific for about $3. It is extremely dangerous. I almost melted a penny with it. I cracked concrete, melted asphalt. You have to be really careful when handling it outdoors because you can accidentally create a severe burn in senconds. I wanted to pair it with a Stirling engine to make a generator, but then I read about a guy that has already secured VC to build a generating station in CA to do the same thing.
