What do you have at your disposal to test with?
(Spare video cards, RAM, maybe a complete Digital Audio or Quicksilver G4, a spare processor and heatsink?)
I might as well form the line.. if you can't manage to revive it, I'd sure be interested in some parts from it. Processor and heatsink first, and other parts if they're available.. I might even buy the whole machine, if you didn't want to much for it.
Plug in headphones and verify that the speaker isn't just unhooked.
Unhook all IDE cables and startup. See if that helps.
Try a different video card.
Different RAM, or at least different configurations.
PRAM Reset frequently.
Reseat the processor, adding new thermal paste.
Report back.
