Many of us keep (or kept) OS 9 and OS 9 apps on a separate partition JUST for cleanliness sake..
For me, it helped me at a glace remind myself of what I was still using that WAS a classic app.
Once my Classic partition was nearly empty, I dumped it, repartitioned, and haven't had any trouble since. (Since I have that DVD-R backup... just in case...
Same thing at work.. I keep it all on a separate partition JUST for convenience sake so I don't mix native and classic apps in my Applications folder.
Not necessary, just my own screwed up sense of tidyness.
