New news! At least it was for me.
Last night, as I searched for forums dealing with my new GPS, I found out that Garmin is coming out, at any moment now (mid-Oct), with a new "700" series to replace the 600 series. http://www.gpsmagazine.com/2007/08/garmi...php?page=1
This should mean that the 660 that I just purchased should experience a "serious" price drop as soon as the new model hits the stores.
I definitely plan to return my 660 and to see if the 760's new features are attractive enough for me to switch. Also, since the retail for the 760 is the same as the 660, I wonder if I can negotiate the same price for a 760.
One way or another, I think it would be a good idea to wait to buy a new Nuvi.
