Well the Brother I brought home was hopeless. The first one had two ink tanks that wouldn't let the ink out.
The second one wouldn't pass the paper through.
At that point the guy at the store suggested the Hewlett Packard.
Maybe a Brother that has no mechanical problems does support OS9. I never really had a chance to see whether it did.
I wasn't impressed with the quality of the machine. All the plastic parts (almost everything on the machine) bent too easily.
But thanks for reminding me that I never really had a chance to see if it would work. And at $59.95 it was certainly cheap. But you get what you pay for.
