Costco: Canon S3 10X zoom 5mp $359
#10
Gene, it's the same adapter tube... it sticks out a hair past the lens when fully extended, and will accept filters, as well as the wide & tele lenses; and yes, it is sold separately, or included in various accessory packages. I have the S1 and S2, though the S2 dropped the sport mode from the settings wheel, necessitating creating a "custom" setting and saving it to shoot Baby Buzz's sporting activities. problem is remembering to make sure the right "custom" setting is selected when quickly changing the mode wheel from "auto" to "C". built in sport mode is back on the S3, so remembering won't be an issue again. you may want to consider NOT returning your costco order Smile
