Beer Keg, Half-Barrel question

I'm about to return my keg but I can tell from moving it that there is still some beer left in it. Nothing comes out though so I thought maybe there was too much pressure. I pull the pressure release but instead of extra air coming out beer comes out of the holes. How can I get the rest out?
