Ha ha ha,
When the wifee and I were in college, she was a mentor for incomming freshmen. She wondered why they werent as dedicated as she was to college(everything fun came before classes and work for some of her mentees(sic?) ).
In my third year, I worked for a professor in Economics. He had asked me if the Econ 101 class was difficult. I told him, NO, but he wondered why soooo many students failed his class. The only reasons I could think of was lack of attention and attendance. (I was one of his top students and I sat near the exit in the back of a huge lecture hall). His class was the easiest class I ever had.
