I was able to remove the speaker connector but when I was trying to remove the power switch connecter (blue/white wires), it broke off the board. I was trying to "pry" loose the connector but apparently I was on the socket part of it. So now what do I do?
Is it easily repairable (not by me but a Mac repair guy)? The connector must be soldered back onto the board by two tabs.
Should I go ahead and complete installing the new drive and put it back together up to connector part and have someone repair it?
This really is a bummer.
