[quote the_poochies]BuckeyeSean, I am certainly no fan of Miami and Michigan.
This imaginary recruiting battle between Tressel and LLLoyd that was posted earlier this year always makes me laugh:
Hmmm, Poochies I still don't get it. (I apologize, only on my 1st cuppa' this morning - so I may be a bit slow.) Are you saying that Jim Tressel is winning only because of the recruits he has and what he has done to get them? I'm not naive and I know this kind of activity goes on in every big football program to some extent. Especially when you're trying to get a big name signed to your program. But, I think you might also want to look at the NFL agents as a source of the problem as well. (14 OSU players went to the NFL last year.)
I will remind you that when the Bucks won the National Championship Tressel was playing mostly with John Cooper's kids - and back then while OSU was still a good program - it wasn't stellar. So I tip my hat to coaching. Yes, the bucks won ugly that year - but they won and that is all that matters in the long haul.
I still don't understand your beef with OSU football. Though, I'm getting ready to pour my 2nd cup.
-Cheers!
