Wow! The beauty of waking to an amazing new world covered by snow is a pleasure I haven't experienced for many years, since I've moved from NY to SoCal 40+ years ago.
It was a pleasure I always treasured from the time I was little. That's when I knew that I'd be missing school. We used to come up with some great "snow day" activities including taking the New Haven RR from New Rochelle to Pelham (next stop) and by riding on the platform at the end of the car we'd miss paying for the ride and then taking the bus back home. Then we'd play Monopoly for the rest of the afternoon.
What I don't miss is snow chains. They always seem to break and the loose ends would tear the hell out of our fenders.
Brrrr! Too cold for me, nowadays.
I'm curious, do all your snakes of different sizes get along without the big ones devouring the smaller ones?
Thanks for the pics.
Stay warm,
GeneL
