Nuts to Verizon!
I picked up on a promotion from a thread on HowardForums, where, if you took their online survey, you could buy accessories at a discount.
I took the survey so that I could get a couple of extended batteries for my s/o's and my KRZRs at 1/2 price. $25 each instead of $50. When I tried to complete my order instead of finalizing I was asked to sign up for service to proceed.
I didn't see a clear disclaimer about having to be a Verizon subscriber, so I'm really pissed.
It appears I need a Verizon customer to place the order for me.
Unfortunately, I don't know who, of my friends or acquaintances, is a Verizon customer.
