Well, how many hours of your life are you looking to throw away on this new 'car racing' adventure?
If you have a PS 2 I would say go out and buy a copy of Gran Turismo 2 or 3, which has been arguably the best driving simulator series to date. This is nothing like MarioKart however, much more realistic, basically you race to win money to upgrade your cars to race to win more money...
There are some 'endurance races' where you literally drive for hours to win.
